True to its governing principle Care beyond Barriers, ACT stands to effect a positive difference to the lives of children who are abandoned and the aged who are forsaken as unwanted burdens of society. ACT aims to cut across man made barriers, to transcend the differences of gender, country, caste, creed and colour. It is our objective to reach out to as many people we can, to make whatever humane difference possible, to assist them to lead their lives with dignity and purpose.

Though fully aware that we cannot alleviate all the pains of this world which reels in a mixture of strife, frustration, agony and utter helplessness, we believe every effort, began however humbly-- such as ours which was inspired by the abiding memory of a beautiful child, Ammu-- can make a positive change in soothing and sheltering the vulnerable ones of this world. It is in the midst of a world increasingly driven by self-interest, that we intend to carve out an oasis of peace and tranquillity where people would be encouraged to give up their selfish motives to pursue the realisation of the love innate in every human being. Hence our greater accent on the development of the inner world so that an appreciation of one's authentic inner beauty can in turn, radiate and reflect on the outside, rendering the world around us beautiful too.
