Food packets didn’t bring twinkle in their eyes as much as a ,hot cup of tea in the evening. We distributed food packets and tea to the street dwellers who were either homeless or the daily wage workers who are jobless due to the lockdown and cannot return to their villages.
Food packets were definitely acknowledged but the tea which is not available these days brought a smile and gratitude in each one’s face. Small things the importance of which, we realise in its absence.
It was heartening to do this seva.
One old disabled man on his disabled tricycle suddenly appeared when we were moving in our car asked us to stop and give food and blessed us so lovingly.
