Goal
Empower vulnerable communities with alternative means to earn their livelihood. Ammucare established the foundation of ‘Community Kitchen’ empowering people to become financially stable from the most vulnerable communities like leprosy colonies, affected by the global pandemic in 2021. Community Kitchen (CK) which was set up on 9th July 2020 is now a means of hope, support and financial sustenance for these families from one of the colonies in Patel Nagar, Delhi. CK serves only fresh and good quality cruelty free food that makes all beings happy and content. Livelihood plays an integral role in everyone’s life for physical, mental and emotional sustenance. Through this initiative, we are able to serve food to the homeless, daily wagers, construction workers, displaced communities and migrant workers, sewage workers etc.

- Fresh cooked meal for 200 people costs Rs. 7500
- Fresh handmade roti making for about 1800- 2000 roties costs Rs. 5000

- In Kind: Contribute Dry Rations like Fresh and packed Atta to make roties for animals and Dals, rice for people in Delhi.
- Individuals, corporate, foundations and investors to pool in funds for securing our own independent space to set up a big community kitchen and support its operational expenses.
- Any existing space can also be used to set up this kitchen.
- Sponsorship / Collaboration to create a network of food vans to facilitate maximum food distribution amongst people and animals to serve the larger community.
- Commit funds to help us in scaling up the production capacities from 230 to 1000 per day to serve good quality food to people and from 1000 to 5000 fresh roties to animals.
- Institutions/ groups/ individuals willing to serve food to any communities in Delhi. You may contact us and give us ‘Orders for food ’
- Connect us with like minded people/ groups, corporate, educational institutes willing to support this project.
- Anyone good at catching the live moments are welcome to join us to do the photoshoot of the project.
- People good at communication skills needed for report writing.
